We have visited Boston Pizza numerous times and always enjoy it. Our last visit was exceptional though! The service was excellent and our waitress was very attentive, polite, and interacted great with our children. Our food arrived quickly and tasted delicious. We had the Southwest Skins which is one of our favourites and I tried the Pulled Pork Sandwich with cactus cuts! I was very pleased with everything. Read more

Just had dinner at the bistro and it was fantastic. The service was great and the waitress was very helpful and answered all the questions we had about the menu and drinks. She was very personable and made the evening very enjoyable. The food was fantastic. We had the crab and shrimp cakes and bruschetta for appetizers which were great. All four of our entrees were hot, flavourful and delicious. We had two pasta dishes, lamb chops and a chicken dish which were all delightful. We were able to substitute sides without a problem or fuss from the waitress. We also had two desserts which were also fantastic. I have been to the bistro now four times and very time I have had something different and it has always been great. No complaints about anything. Great evening and atmosphere with a fantastic meal. Butternut squash soup was tasty, grilled shrimp had a nice kick (from the chili oil), hand-made gnocchi was surprisingly light (a great appetizer that was a special of that night), grilled beets with spiced pecans and goat cheese was unusual yet delightful, lamb shanks (also a special that night) was tender but the sauce was quite overwhelming, and of course, the maple cheesecake was delicious (yet not too sweet). Overall, we felt the food, service, price, portions and ambiance was perfect. Duane (our server and the manager) is entertaining and knowledgeable with wine pairings. Ryan is a terrific chef and it's obvious that he puts much care when preparing the food. We look forward to dining at Mamo Bistro again soon. Read more
